Expression meaning “never in my life”.

Around 3 years ago, Never in my life did I think I could or would go out to dinner alone, go to a movie alone, go get groceries alone. I was so scared, so dependent, any of those simple things I wouldn’t dare do alone.

Just under a month ago, I took myself on a solo vacation to Amsterdam, just because I wanted to go. I didn’t want anyone to come with me. I spent a lot of time going to museums, art galleries, restaurants, and yes, a movie. Alone.

Its astounding the difference a few years makes in a person. Because never in my life was a statement that I used to hold me back.
